Making a Two-Photo Dog Keepsake Card

A two-photo card can connect an earlier moment with a recent one, or pair a portrait with a shared scene. Choose images that have a clear reason to be together.

Keep the layout simple and give each photograph enough room. Matching crop shapes can create order, but do not force a crop that removes an important detail just to make the pair symmetrical.

Write a brief caption explaining the connection. If the dates are uncertain, use an honest range or a descriptive phrase. Do not imply that the photographs document the same day when they do not.

Print a test at actual size before making several cards. Small text can be difficult to read, and a screen preview may hide tight margins. A little space around the images often makes the finished card feel more considered.
