Building a Contact Sheet of Your Dog's Expressions
A contact sheet places several small photographs together, making it useful for comparing expressions or enjoying a sequence. Choose a limited group with enough variation to reward looking closely.
Use consistent image sizes and spacing so the layout does not compete with the faces. A simple grid can work well, provided no important detail becomes too small to see.
Do not label every expression with a confident emotional diagnosis. Playful captions can be clearly playful, while factual captions describe visible details such as a head tilt or a partly closed eye.
Review the sheet at the intended print size. If the images feel crowded, remove some rather than shrinking everything further. The appeal comes from the differences between moments, and those differences need enough space to remain visible.
