Boston Terrier Training Guide
Boston Terriers are intelligent, eager-to-please dogs, but they can also show a stubborn streak if not trained consistently. Their friendly nature makes them highly responsive to positive reinforcement methods.
Training should begin early, focusing on basic commands such as sit, stay, come, and leash walking. Short, consistent training sessions work best because Boston Terriers can lose focus if sessions are too long.
Positive reinforcement using treats and praise is the most effective training method. Harsh corrections are not recommended as they can damage trust and slow progress.
Socialization is also important. Exposing Boston Terriers to different environments, people, and animals helps them develop confidence and reduces anxiety-driven behaviors.
